Haha, that is exactly what I think every Monday morning when I am forced out of my cozy, cozy bed. Mhmmm. Anyways! Hi, guys. :) I think I am going to be a little gleeful today because it is the second day of Fall (yeheee!). Now if only this Econ test that I have at 1:20 does not ruin my mood, I will be perfectly okay. Moving on! I am thinking about changing #Quotunes around a little. First of all, I am thinking about changing the name to something...eh, a little less...weird? I don't know. Maybe - maybe. Next, I am going to stop typing everything out myself for the #quotunes (ah-ah-ah, got to go) photo (i.e. the picture with the quote and song on it). Instead, I will find a premade photo, source it, and add a tune at the end. Kapeesh? The only time I will make my own is if I am not super lazy, and that'll be the only time I won't source a photo. WHEW! That was a lot to say (haha, or type?). Okay. Now that that is all said and done, continue on...
The greatest feeling in life is accomplishing what you want to. One of the worst feelings in life is not doing what you want to do, but doing something only because others want to see you do it - that equates to nothing but settling in life. Don't settle for what others want you to do [if it does not please you]. If it something that you must do, okay, that is different. However, if it is something that you have control over, then darn it, don't do it if you don't want to! The quote above says it all, and I love it love it love it. It's the only way life [for yourself] will be of value. Who wants to live their life only able to look back on those times where "so and so was happy because I did this," but never "I was happy because I did this"? Not I, for sure.
Today is the beginning of a new [extremely long it seems like] week. I kind of feel a bit down today, but hey, it's whatever; I must go on. Let's just say that the weekend could not come any sooner. Anyways, let's get some positivity into our day with the Monday #Quotunes. Motivation and inspiration are the two main key concepts for #Quotunes. A quote and a song is all this requires.
The quote "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who don't mind matter and those who do mind don't matter," is by Dr. Seuss (yes, I drew inspiration from a childhood character. You have to admit he speaks wise words, though). I think this quote can inspire everybody to stop worrying about what people will think of them. Your real friends will love you no matter what, and those who are fake towards you - who gives a bum's arse about what they think. Pleasing everyone is impossible, so only aim to please yourself, and if it ends up pleasing someone else, great. "Made in the USA" is a song by Demi Lovato off of her 2013 album, Demi Lovato. I love love love this song. The video (which I just saw yesterday morning) is one of my favorites. To hear the tune, click the embed player below, or find the tune here.
For those in the US of A, Happy Labor Day! It's crazy how Summer is (unofficially) ending, and it kind of makes me sad. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to the new season, and the many days until the new year. So, once again, have a happy and safe day. For those who are returning back to school tomorrow (like me), enjoy your last day of summer freedom (haha). :)
To find the song by Hall & Oates, go here. The quote is unknown, but I love it simply because I've realized that is true. Every dream that we have the is big enough, scares us in some way. We may get over it eventually, but if you don't get a little nervous, or scared, then dream bigger and harder. Life is full of potential, so dream of the big things (not that small things are just as good, but c'mon, you can't just stick to the small things in life).

Song Choice: 'I Don't Want To Dance' by Hey Monday. I love love love this song. Although the title is saying different, this tune makes me want to dance (haha). Give it a listen below to see why.
Positivity is one of the main things in life that I feel as if I need to improve on. That and being happier with who I am. Both of those things can be helped (and quickly) as long as I put the passion and persistence, that I use with other things, towards it. Throughout the days of reading and reading and reading blogs, I have noticed how many of the gals behind them do things that help improve themselves, their day, and their attitude about things. Whether it be working out more, changing a diet, writing what you're grateful for in a journal daily, or looking in a mirror everyday and telling yourself, "I'm beautiful." Everybody has their own way of improving whatever it is that they want to. Mines just so happens to be wanting a more "positive" life and thought pattern, as well an improved self-love for myself.
With that in mind, the quote paired with today's #Quotunes is by Brad Paisley, and it is something that I see fit to how I need to look at my life from now on. There is 365 days in a year, but you can start over whenever you'd like. And whenever you want to start a new "book", "chapter", or "page" of your life, just make sure it is something that teaches you something; it should be a part of your journey towards improving whatever it is that you want. Do something every (-other) day that you feel is helping to improve your life (or whatever). Just have the determination, passion, and persistence, and yes - you will have a oh my shizz book (that's good, by the way).
The song choice is Fast Cars and Freedom by Rascal Flatts. It is my one of my new/old addictions that I love love love! The lyrics are really amazing, and hey, the vocals have always been great. If you have not already, press the play button above! It's an old tune, so you most likely have heard it before, but if you have not, give it a listen. Have a great Monday! :)

Song Choice: 'Somebody Told Me' by The Killers. I don't know how I only recently found out about this band? Yeah....that sucks. BUT! I found them now, and I adore them, so I just had to add them for a song choice. I think you'll like this song; it's catchy, and it's a really good song. I really like how it sounds with it playing from my earphones, but it also sounds amazing blasting from speakers - your choice. Give it a listen below!
Have a grand day, loves! I will be back later with more posts. To hear the song by Ed Sheeran, find it hereeeee. Link up with #quotunes starting today. It'll happen every Monday. Song choice: 'Come To Me' by Brian Culbertson. This tune is really amazing, especially live! If you have no idea who Brian is, look him up, or click here. His talent is beyond impeccable and I love all of (or most of) his music. If you like contemporary jazz, then I highly recommend giving this man a listen. You will not be disappointed. Trust me.
