What I Want In My Closet for Spring
Spring is in nine days! You do not know the amount of joy that is bouncing around inside of me. I am looking forward to all of the fresh scents, the lovely rays of sunshine, and most of all: the shift in clothing! Although dresses and skirts are possible to wear year-round, it is just something about the spring and summer that makes me want to break them out. In the winter, tights do not seem that warm enough for me {A reason to invest in some better ones?}, so I lean towards pants, sweats, etc.
This spring, I am going to try and shift towards the brighter colors (possibly some pastel, as well). Black in my favorite color, but this dreadful winter has made me want to see more vibrant tones and say to hell with blacks, grays, and deep blues. {Although, I love to wear blue during the summer! It's the coastal gal in me.}
On another note, because the coming of spring is so darn close, I have been interested in some pieces that I will be grabbing as soon as my online shopping ban (for lent) is over (or I happen to make it into the stores sometime soon). Although I can go to the mall physically, I am trying to show enough restraint and save some money by limiting my spending on clothes. By doing this, I can see what I really want instead of just blowing my cash on something that I think I want at the moment. You know what I am talking about! Harhar. I'm pretty sure a lot of gals do. The only exception I am making is getting either a dress, romper, or shirt/skirt combo for my school's Grammys that are coming up. I have made the wise decision to not buy any shoes because I have some very versatile heels and wedges th at is bound to go with the outfit one way or the other. We shall see....hohaha (that's meant to sound suspenseful).
{The first pair of pants that I am thinking of buying are Pair J. I swear, they look so freaking comfy!}
