It's officially spring today, y'all! Can we give three cheers for that?
Hip, hip, horrah! {I just love saying that.} Now, let's have hope that winter gets the memo and takes all of its damn snow back for good. Spring, fight for us! Longer and warmer days our in our futures, y'all; what could be more exciting? Oh...wait,
Summer is...but we're not there yet, so let's focus on the now.
*Two days ago, I found the outfit that I'm wearing to my high school's GRAMMYs. I am in love! Soon I'll share a few of the options that I tried on, but you won't be seeing the exact one I chose until next Friday. :) Oh! And the best part was that the dress was knocked down $20 because it was on SALE! {Can you sense my excitement?}
*On that same day, I got these booties that are
perfect for spring! Oh my gosh. My mum decided to gift me with them, and I was super excited! You might remember the booties that I'm speaking about from
this post. They are the first ones. When buying these boots, I recommend that you size down one size (or some cases, only a half-size); these run a little big. The best thing was that instead of $40, the shoes were on sale for $30! I love me some sales. ;)
While I am on the topic of spring clothes/shoes, below I am sharing some updates on what I want for this season and summer. Just know that this wishlist includes a boatload of sandals, shorts, and dresses.
Old Navy has
the best, cheap flip-flops! Instead of sticking to the usual color of black footwear, I am going to venture into the bright color territory when it comes to the shoes on my feet this summer. I'm digging these navy, green, and hot pick flip-flops.
The print on this
navy blue sweater is so pretty! I love it. With the warm days of spring, yet not the hot days of summer yet, this sweater will be perfect. Plus, what's more nautical than the color navy?
I just really need some sweatpants/jogging pants/leggings. These look to be the perfect length, and as I am looking to get back into exercising,
these will be perfect for that reason alone! For the summer, I'll need to get some shorts, but until then, this'll do. Plus, they look to be quite comfy.
Specifically for exercise, these
pants and these
other ones seem to be the perfect choice. I'm digging the first one, but the pattern on the second is what's really drawing my attention.
Fun colors help motivate me to work out (especially in the summer months). Plus, I like that these tops are not too tight, which will help me not focus on whether everyone can see my flaws and stuff while I am working out. Love these tanks! |

Since most of my tank tops are now a few years old and are getting holes in them {Oops.}, I desperately need to get new ones! I like the fun strips in
the first one, and here is
the second one. There is no need to spend a boatload on some tops that'll be thrown away and replaced after a year (or the summer in general). The price that Old Navy sells these for is perfect simply because of that reason.
Ten dollars?! For these? I think that is an excellent deal, y'all. {Who says you have to pay full price for everything?} The fun color in the second pair is perfect! I am honestly lusting after those

Navy blue is my favorite color for the summer! Plus, the breeziness of both tops are perfect for the heat of the summer {and some layering with a jacket in the spring}. A benefit of the second top: I could so wear that to school because khaki is in our uniform. Me gusta. ;) |

I've been wanting a
longer cardigan for awhile, and I think that this spring is the perfect time for me to get it. It'll work well over shorts, jeans, dresses, and skirts. Plus, I adore the short bottoms/longer tops trend that is going on now. And a
chambray, wrap dress? Get in my closet, like, right now!
