C'mon Let Me Ride Your Bicycle

By 10:00 AM , , , , , ,

I bought this bicycle-print dress from a thrift store back in San Mateo, CA. This dress caught my eye because of its unique print. I knew that I was going to buy it before I even tried it on. The only issue with the dress is that the cinched part falls too low on my waist, so I have to tie the belt around a couple of times. It could use a little bit of altering, but it's nothing too major.

This dress is so airy, which makes it the perfect wear during the summer months. I'll also add it to my autumn rotation as well. I will most likely just have to layer up a bit more because of how thin the fabric is. That's something I am willing to do because I refuse to put this piece up for the cooler months. It's too pretty of a fabric. Plus, it is pretty much an ode to my (at times) childish and zany personality. (Hello! Because what child doesn't like bikes?)

The shoes are also a new back-to-school purchase for me.  I got them from Sears. (They were new in-store and on sale for $15!!!) Along with these flats, I purchased a pair of black riding boots with gold accents and black combat boots. (Both were on sale, too!) I am in love with a lot of the things that I have for back-to-school. Although, if I had the opportunity to not have to go to school, I would gladly give everything back. Eh. I dislike high school that much, y'all. Shameful? A little.

The song of this post is so ironic! I love it so much! (Hahaha.) But please note that Skylar is not being serious; she is actually being mocking. If you have an innocent mind, then you might not pick up on the meaning of this song anyway, but I just figured I'd warn those who do not. (Like me - oops?)
