Saturday Tunes: Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco

If someone were to ask me which musical genre is my favorite, I would be stuck between Country and Alternative. The former would probably come out on top in the end, but it would still be a hard, hard choice. Country is very soothing, fun, and a good 'ole ode to the summer for me. {I mean, that is the best time to listen to it, after all.} On the other hand, Alternative music is perfect for me to dance ridiculously to while singing my entire heart out. Sure, both can be done with either genre, but that I what I generally associate the latter to.

Fall Out Boy is a four person Pop Punk/Alternative band that adores their fans with tunes such as "My Song Knows What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)" and "Dance, Dance" over their career span (2001-2009, 2013-now). When they were first coming on scene, I was a little girl who was quite oblivious to different (amazing) genres in the world.  Around 2012, I started loving genres such as Country, Rock, and Alternative. However, Fall Out Boy was on a hiatus until the following year, 2013, where they released their newest album Save Rock and Roll. A very upbeat album, many of their fans loved it. {And yes, that includes me.} Some of my favorite tunes are "Where Did The Party Go" and "Just One Yesterday". Further below, I will share the embed version, so that you can give them a listen.

Panic! At the Disco is another band that has caught and stolen my heart. Formed in 2004, P!ATD has went through a few band members, but the current ones include Brendon Urie, Spencer Smith, and and Dallon Weekes. Their hit song "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" is what lured me into their musical perfection, and tunes such as "But It's Better if You Do" and "The Ballad of Mona Lisa"  has kept me. Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die! is the newest album on Panic! At the Disco's discography, and it's not one that fans have taken too lightly {out of love, of course!}. Although the music is slightly different than their older albums, it is nevertheless in classic Panic! At the Disco fashion - amazing. "Miss Jackson" caused a ruckus as it hit the scene, making everyone go "Have you heard it?" {At least, that's what my friends did to me.} And "Girls/Girls/Boys" was the second song that did the hook, line, sinker action on me, leading me to download the entire album. Can we say love at first listen? (Or possibly second?)
