Doing Myself A Steadfast
Although I am still on my ban from online shopping until Lent is over, I have had to do something to curve my craving for pressing 'buy' in the shopping carts of some of my fave stores. No, y'all, I did no cheat. Instead, I just browsed, added somethings to my shopping cart, browsed a little bit more, and then left the website. Temptation is a beast; I almost pressed 'buy' one too many times. Thankfully, I did not!
The act of taming my addiction of online shopping has allowed me to find a lot of things that I cannot wait to buy once Lent is over—boots, flats, sandals, shorts, dresses...I want it all. Some of the stores that I looked at included Forever 21, eBay, and Charlotte Russe. Some more may be added to that list soon. {Or not because I cannot handle any more cute clothes on sale!} Below, I am sharing with you all some of my favorite pieces for $20 and under.
*That 'hello' t-shirt is absolutely gorgeous! I love the gold on top of the floral. It's perfect for springtime.
*Is it possible for love-at-first-sight? If so, that's what happened when I first laid eyes on this rose jacquard shirt. I need, want, and have to get it.
*This open knit sweater is going to be amazing for spring and summer! The two colors (mint and peach) that it's available in is swoon-worthy, too.
*I am loving overalls for the spring and summertime. If it is the form of a dress, then I adore it so much more. Free as a kite, yet as fashion-forward as many other. {Plus, going to the bathroom will be much, much easier. Haha. I can't be the only one to think that about rompers/overalls.}
*The cut on the back of this dress is freaking gorgeous! It can be the perfect LBD in my closet. The emerald shade that this dress is also available in will most likely be making its way into my closet, too. Can we say love?
*I've been needing some black jeans/jeggings/pants...whatever. For the price given (on sale for $7.99, originally $11.50), these would be the perfect pair to try out until I can get that perfect pair. Y'know what I mean?
*I adore the mustard yellow base, blue, red, and purple in this cardigan. It'll be perfect to wear during the spring months and summer (on those cooler days).
*I love this fringe dress from Hot Topic a lot. It's such a perfect festival dress!
*Floral and the color black is not the usual duo for spring...or ever. Yet, that is something that is perfect together! Hot Topic does it right. ;) It's also the perfect festival dress. I can envision myself wearing this with a jean jacket or kimono.
