Yo llevaba una rayas vestido

I am beat tired, guys. Partying until one in the morning is quite easy for someone my age, but it's not so easy for my body in the morning. Oh my, I cannot wait for those college days with alcohol. {Note the sarcasm, please.} After a week of getting hardly any sleep thanks to school work, our annual Grammys and after-party was just what I needed last night to relax (even though that seems to be the complete opposite of what I really need--SLEEP).

The Grammys was a lot of fun! I got all cute and dressed up, and my makeup was killer (although I looked as if I had Asian eyes sans glasses). I never got a chance to post my outfit choices that I might have worn for this event, so I might do it in the future...or not. It honestly depends on how I feel sometime this week.

I bought my dress at Sears on sale for $19.99 (knocked down from 50 bucks. Finding nice pieces for such a sale causes my passion for fashion. {That's another reason why I am broke. Sales are my vice.} The belt was one of the main reasons that I bought this dress. It cinched my waist perfectly, which gives me a nice, shapely figure. The stripes are also pretty--horizontal and vertical, which helps to create an illusion to the eye.

The shoes that I wore are ones that I purchased from Dots about two years ago? I am guesstimating (guess/estimating). The only negative about those wedges are that the soles are horrible! I have to pretty much balance myself just right to keep steady. Maybe I can find something to fix that? I don't know. Otherwise, the shoes are gorgeous and one of my favorites! I wore them to Beyonce's concert last year, and a few other times. {You may remember them from this outfit post.}

To give an ode to spring, I painted my nails and toenails a nice shade of pink. You do not see my toes because, at the last minute, I decided to throw on a pair of fishnets because the temperature was starting to cool down. Plus, that meant one less thing that I had to change when I changed into my after-party outfit, which I sadly forgot to photograph. What can I say? I was having fun!

This is a photo of my sister, Kristian, and I from last night. She bought her dress from Charlotte Russe and the shoes are from Payless. {We both own these shoes, and you may remember them from this post.}
