"Crap! You Got Hot!"

By 10:00 AM , , , , , , , , ,

Happy Sunday, y'all! This week (in Michigan), the temperature is supposed to be in the forties and fifties until Saturday, when it'll go back down to the thirties. Sadly, on Thursday there is supposed to be more snow, but eh, we're talking about Michigan. The weather is ridiculous here.  Regardless, I will take the few semi-warm days (compared to the negatives we got during the winter, anyways).

*I do not get Scandal. At all. Yesterday, I watched an episode of it with my dad, and the entire time I was thinking, "Are you freaking kidding me!?" Olivia and the President had an affair together, so why the heck is the President so upset that his wife slept with another guy? I mean, I understand how said guy is running to be the Vice President, but uhm.... Getting on the Scandal train is not foreseeable in my future. I think I might not ever get there either. Oops?

*My computer broke, y'all.  Well, it isn't "broke, broke", but the charger broke inside of the plug, so it's all messed up and can't charge anymore. I need to go get that fixed ASAP. Hopefully my mum can take me tomorrow to get that done. Not having my computer has been a headache because my mum, my sister, and I have been stuck sharing one computer--NOT cool.

*Ever since Grammys on Friday night, I have been stuck on reliving the years of my past, music-wise. Pretty Ricky, Trina, and Destiny's Child, anyone? I think so. ;)

This week has been, eh....not that good, health-wise. I have been eating burgers mad-crazy this past week. On Thursday, I ate a delicious burger and fries at Capers in celebration of my mum's birthday. Is is okay for me to say that they have the best burger I've ever tasted? I think so. If you are ever around the metro-Detroit area, please do yourself a solid and go check out that little family restaurant! It does not look like one, but trust me, it is. Look for the duck sign on the side of the building, plus the word...Capers. Haha. They specialize in steak, though, and that is one thing that I can recommend, as well. {Although I no longer eat steak, whenever my mum brings some of Caper's steak home, I cannot resist eating some! Haha. Oops? I guess this just means it is really good!}

I digress. The food that I ate this week has been suckish, which is odd because with Grammy's coming up, I figured I would have ate better. Hahah. Oh well. I still looked good in my dress

On the topic of exercise, I did that only twice this week. I feel bad about that, but I kind of injured my hip at the gym.  It happened when I was on the treadmill because I didn't stretch before (don't ask). I put some muscle cream on my hip that night to try and get the pain to go away. {Why does muscle cream burn like hell? Seriously, it felt like my skin was on fire!} It semi-helped. At school the very next day, when I was walking up the stairs, my hip just started to hurt even worse! I was so afraid that I wouldn't be able to go to Grammys or the after-party the next day. I just put my muscle cream on it, and it worked like a charm.  Occasionally, I put more muscle cream on there, and the pain goes away (replaced by a burning sensation). Hopefully my hip will feel a lot better by tomorrow so that I can get back to the gym.

My goal for this week is to limit the amount of fast-food I intake and do a physical activity once every day. Fast food is not healthy, and I want to stop eating so much of it! For this month, I have been doing a good job at it, but last week was just not good. And on the subject of exercising, I am joining the #1800MinuteChallenge with Living In Yellow and three other blogs, starting on April 1st. What kind of health goes do you have?
