Quotes To Be Inspired By
Quotes are a strong piece of history. Not only famous quotes, but those well-undermined as well. I personally love to write down quotes and look at the ones that are relevant to my situation at that exact moment--sometimes positive, other times negative. Below, I am going to share some of my favorite quotes that I turn to time after time again, regardless to the situation. What are some of your favorite (or most memorable) quotes?

This quote means a lot to me simply because it is how I try to live. I try to be daring, spontaneous, and random in certain things that I do. Why live a boring life, when it could be so fulfilling and full of amazing things? Ordinary life is for ordinary people, and I most certainly do not classify myself as an ordinary person. Adjectives such as unique, spontaneous, random, fun, and silly are the type I like to be associated with. "Ordinary," is not one of them.

This quote, once again, ties into how I try to live my life. The beauty of how a child lives his/her life is amazing. (S)he looks at it with fresh eyes, oblivious to the hate and troubles that life throws at everyone. For no reason, a child will just smile, giggle. It's really adorable. It's kind of (read: very) sad how as we age and grow up, the oblivious nature we were born with is stripped from us, and we are forced to accept the world how it is, or go down with it. However, I choose to not let all of the negativity weigh me down and smile for no reason at all. I attempt to look at the goodness, the positivity in what is throw at me and move on. I get a C on a test? Laugh it off and vow to study harder for the next one.

This quote is one of my favorite of all the quotes that I love. It simplifies how I feel about people in a nutshell (unless I actually do care about you). Essentially, this quote means that why should I worry about what someone who may not like me, or may talk crap about me thinks about me? If you quote end quote "don't like me," then why are you so worried about what I do, who I talk to, or what I acquire out of life? I am not trying to be rude, but if I do not like you or if you bother me in some way at all, then I neither think nor care about what you do, say, or have. Everyone has their own life to live, and I am more focused about mine than someone's that I really don't care about. Get me?

I guess quotes about life is something that I am stuck on. Haha. But anyways--this quote touches on everything that I want it to make reference to. When I get older, I want to have a bunch of stories to tell my grandchildren about the endeavors that I embarked on as a young person. I want to be able to die and everyone have funny, sad, beautiful, crazy moments to share about me and what I did throughout my life. If there is one thing that I want the most, it is to not live a boring life that nobody wants to hear about.

I love Andy. He is seriously one of my idols. The music Black Veil Brides make is very inspirational and has got me through so dang much. That is not my point, though. My point is that this quote is very much so inspiring! As we grow up, standing up for what we believe in is instilled inside of our heads. However, today's generation seems to have more depression and self-esteem issues that previous generations, and I think that is due to judgement and bullying. A solution (in my opinion) that I believe could work would be if we were to start standing up for our beliefs, regardless to what others think. That is how come it is our own beliefs. I have learned how to stop caring so much about what others think of me, and stand up for whatever it is that I am passionate about. This is a quote I refer to whenever I feel as if I am alone and wavering about standing up for what I believe in.

I adore this quote. I generally go to it whenever I start to feel down about myself and how I look. This quote by Oliver is very inspiring. Hope is given to me by this quote hinting that not everyone is after all of the "popular" people (not that I previously thought that, though).

If you really know me, you'd be aware that Avril is honest to God my biggest idol. She is talented, gorgeous, and most of all--herself. I try to take her confidence and insert it into my own life. Refer to quote #3 and you'll get the gist of why I love this quote as well.

When times get really hard, I generally go for "why me?" But that is when I try to think about a quote such as this one by Miley Cyrus. God put me on this Earth for a reason. He put me here with a plan in mind. I do not know what that plan is, or how I am going to get there, but that just forces me to trust the Lord. If He did not think I was capable of doing what he wants me to do, then I doubt that he would have given me this life. I just keep my head forward, pray, and take one step at a time.

This quote by Lana is very simplified, which is what I adore about the way Lana Del Rey puts things. We all say that we want "this" and "this" and "that," but we generally try anything different in our daily patterns. If we do not change what we do, then we cannot expect to see the change that we wish for. That is how come I adore this quote. It is very motivating to stop saying what I want without being willing to take the first step to get there.

I think that this quote speaks for itself. It's a simple way of saying to BE YOURSELF. Ariana surely knows how to do that; she has red hair, for crying out loud! Yet everyone loves her because of who she is. Instead of meshing in with the crowd, she decided to be who she likes. That is how I attempt to look at my life. It's all about self-love. After you've accomplished that, then--and only then--will anyone else be able to really love you for you.
