A Confession of a Procrastinator...

By 7:13 PM ,

Confession time: I think that I may have cut my sister's braid in two. But I don't know. I was taking out her weave, and...yeah, I have no idea what happened, but she seems oblivious to it, so I'll roll with it. ;)

Anyhoo, hi, guys! It's finally Thursday, and that means tomorrow is Friday - yes, yes, the totally awesome day that everyone is completely infatuated with (me maybe a little bit too much). It also means that I need to start packing my suitcase for my vacation to Florida on Sunday. So much procrastination. I wouldn't be me if I did not procrastinate, though - sorry/not sorry. After I am finished packing that, I need to pack up the last little things that I need to take to our new home. Once again, so much procrastination. By the time I am done with all of that, I think I will probably regret procrastinating so much...oh well.

Today, I enrolled into a new high school (finally leaving RHS!) and I cannot be more happy. I'm so done with Renaissance that it's not even funny, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that 1. no uniform, 2. more electives that actually interest me, and 3. clubs/organizations that will not bore me to death (they even have an Equestrian club! WHAT!?). When I come back from my vacation, on the 21st, my mum and I are going up to the school to meet with my new counselor and pick out my schedule, then on the 29th, I will be paired up with an 11th and 12th grader to get shown around the school and stuff.  So, I am really really really excited (you should have saw my face earlier).

I wore this outfit yesterday (I tried to post it last night, but I really did not like the format on my iPad mini, and I did not feel like getting on my laptop, so it did not get posted). It's a chambray top that I cannot remember where I got it from (it's years old), a dress-turned-skirt from Dots (and no, I did not cut the dress; it's hidden under the top). and my Sears sandals that are oh-so-comfy. Love love love this outfit. I originally was going to wear a similar dress (that was polka dot & blue), but I changed to this after a little, er...dispute with my mum about "sharing" - if you follow me on twitter, you'd understand (yes, yes, a little shameless plugging).

Song Choice: 'People Like Us' by Kelly Clarkson. How have I never heard this song before yesterday!? It is so amazing! Honestly, I recommend that you check out this 2013 single by Kelly - it's perfect. Once the song gets going, you will be hooked. Last night, I was dead tired and getting ready to fall asleep, but I keep my radio on to fall asleep and this song was playing...yeah, I had to get up and find out this song (read: be lazy and just write the lyrics down in Safari on my iPad mini).
