High Waist Stuff is a Must

By 2:27 PM ,

After a day away from home and up in Northern Michigan, I feel good. It was a nice time to relax and get away with some of my family as we rode rollercoasters, swam, and relaxed in the cabana by the pool.  Although it was not much, it was something, and a day away can do magic (trust me).  Now I am back home and ready to catch up on everything that I missed.

When I went to Michigan's Adventure, I saw tons and tons of bikinis along with a few one pieces and tankinis. With the bikinis, there were some high waist bottoms. And guess who else wore one? Yeah, me. They are one of my favorite swimsuit bottoms...ever. They're comfy, hide your tummy if you want to, and are just very cute. It's no wonder that it seems like everyone is buying them now. It's a must-have. But since I am not yet confident enough to post a photo of me wearing a swimsuit, then eh, it won't show up on this blog just yet. Maybe in the future...maybe. So instead, I am going to spam you all with my favorite high-waist bikini bottoms.

From Zappos, these bottoms are $98.00. (another pair here for $78) Providing a more classic look, I have a pair of these (only from Macy's) and they are uh-may-zingggg. I adore these and I think everyone should have a classic pair in their closet.

I am in love with this mixed pattern/color swim shorts for $110. They are adorable and you'll be feeling hot (in a non-literal sense) wearing these.

More mixed print and color, which is something that is to die for (in my books, at the very least). This pair of swim shorts is the same brand (Seea) and price ($110) as the former pair. Get these lovely addition to your closet here.

These bright yellow high waist bikini bottoms are the definition of fab and class. Norma Kamali created these bottoms giving off a vintage look. They're $175 (a little too expensive for me, but still amazing, nonetheless!).

I adore (faux) animal print and stuff, so of course these would make my list of favorite high waisted swim bottoms. See through mesh is what is making me iffy on whether I'd wear these or not, but if you're confident enough, grab 'em here for $38.00 (such a steal!).

Only left in red online, these Marc Jacob high waisted bikini bottoms are a great summer, vintage look! They bow time makes it feminine as well as the (my favorite) polka dots. Not pricey at all, these bottoms go for $44 dollars, so I'd grab theme quickly.

Galaxy print on everything is quickly becoming overrated. It is also an annoying thing to me. (Honestly, how much galaxy stuff do we need!?) I used to be all in for it, then it suddenly became everyone's go-to pattern. Even with that thought in mind, these galaxy printed high waist bottoms are something that I can let pass. It is adorable! Bringing the thought of the galaxy-overrated print in my mind, I most likely wouldn't get them as they are on the more expensive side, but amazing swimwear, nonetheless!

Print, print, and print! I love print so darn much considering you can mix-and-match it with nearly everything (be daring and bold!). These high waist bikini bottoms are no exception as they're full of color and print. These bottoms are available for $72 dollars.

Song Choice: 'Someone Else Calling You Baby' is a single from 2010 by Luke Bryan, also available on his album Doin' My Thing. Although an old tune, Mr. Bryan's voice and creativity is alluring enough to make me fall in love with this song. After listening to this song (which you better, grrr), if you like it, why don't you go and listen to his more recent songs? He even has a newer one out from 2013! Trust me, you'll like it.
