Feliz 4 De Julio!

By 8:00 AM ,

Happy Fourth of July, loves! Today shall be a day spent full of BBQ, family and friends, loud, happy chatter, and tons of fireworks to light up the night. As of right now, I am most likely going to go and visit the animal shelter with my dad and sister, hang out with them elsewhere outside of the house, then return home to a lovely BBQ. The only downer for today is that my mum has to work, meaning she will not be home until seven p.m. Yeah, I know. Butttttt, that shall not halt my day. Plus, when she does return home, my family and I will go to fireworks near my old house to end the night with a spark. So, I just want to wish you all a Feliz Cuatro de Julio, and allow you to get on with your day.

These snow-cone cupcakes would make for a helluva good time during the Summer months, especially the Fourth of July.  Imagine how the ice would be a perfect cool down, while the delicious taste of a soft, yummy cupcake lies beneath. Okay, yeah, I'm making my self crave these now. The Bakerella is a lovely place that comes up with tons of amazing (and easy) recipes. Skip on over there and read the instructions on how to create these festive snowcakes (haha, yaaaas) yourself.

Cheesecake is always a must at any holiday, regardless to if a ton of family is coming over or not. It is just that one thing that isn't debatable. So, the festive the lovely dessert up for the 4th of July, you might as well decorate it with fruit and jelly. And myrecipes.com has the perfect recipe for you to follow to get a delicious cheescake, plus the cute and cheery decoration. Hey, you may learn a few things or two...or possibly just burn it, but hey, we're not all amazing cooks. *awkward laugh*
A great 4th of July drink (or just in general because it is just that good) is the one where you mix three things. Nope, it is not a slushy (although I must agree that mixing the flavors are extremely mouth savoring!). In fact, it is a mixture of  Fruit Punch, blue Gatorade, and Sprite (or 7 Up). Add some ice, and voila! A cool drink to cool you down while watching the fireworks is prepared. And yum-yum-yum, mighty delicious. Okay, that sounded like I was eating food. No, it's a drink. Slurp-slurp-slurp. lol. (this item was found on Pinterest, so no link back.)
If you want to light up right along with the Fireworks (but still have your life), then these glow sticks will be the perfect addition to your 4th of July getup.
This Nordstrom American Flag denim jacket is the perfect oneto parade around in on the Fourth of July! It's not only very stylish, it is the perfect addition to a more "dressed-up" outfit, allowing for it to take on the more casual side. Yes! Cute, chic, and casual? Those are my three favorite C's. And putting them all together during the Fourth of July is pretty amazing, I'd say. (this item is currently sold out.)

Song Choice: 'No Not One' by Brandon Heath. I was debating on putting a more festive song for this post, but I really like this song at the moment, and I feel as if this one just needs to be put with this post. I don't know. *cue long sigh* Nevermind that. This song is a lovely one found on Brandon's 1997 album, What If We. For me to really not like Gospel music, the artist must really have a tone that does not portray mainstream Gospel, but one of a different angle. A different style. A different approach.  And that is what I get from Brandon Heath. So, I highly recommend him and his music to everyone that is reading this. Give 'No Not One' a listen below and enjoy!
