All that is missing is a flower band for my head.
This is the outfit I wore on Mother's Day, which was yesterday. It was a very nice day in Michigan - the sun was out, and the sky was a very gorgeous blue. My Granny also cooked dinner yesterday, and must I say that it was heaven sent? Her meals are the best! {Whomever said that southern food was the best knew what they were talking about!} Although my Granny is in Michigan, too, she is from Alabama, and I think that [most] people from the south can cook their bums off.
The shirt that I wore over my dress, I purchased from eBay. I am in armor with it! It will be getting a lot of wear starting now up until it tears up. {Hopefully, that does not happen for many, many years.} Chambray is always a basic in any closet, and now I think that I've found mine. The shirt is a very, very light denim, but it has dark denim accent marks along the sleeves, etc. One day, I'll try to snap a better picture of it.
