A: I chose the name Ohana in Vegas because of the meanings that both 'Ohana' and 'Vegas' represent to me. When I was in California, a group of four girls and I became extremely close. We also really love Lilo & Stitch, so we used to repeat the saying, "Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten," all of the time! From then on out, we became known as Ohana. Aside from that, family is very important to me. My family is one of my utmost priorities. So, my 'ohana' is not just my friends that I made in California. It is the family that I have here, in Michigan, too. 

As for Vegas, that is my "family" group in Generation of Promise. (See! I told you that family meant a lot in my life.) In GOP, everyone is separated into family groups. My family group is named Vegas. During one of the bonding activities, to make sure that what we said stayed in the group and to help others feel comfortable sharing personal matters, one of the guys said, "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." Y'know, that is a pretty popular saying! Anyway, later on that night, after we were about to separate, one of our group's facilitators said, "Vegas! That works." From then on out, we have been Vegas. 

All three of my families (whether their name is Ohana, Vegas, or my technical "family") provide a sense of comfort, truth, and support that makes me feel okay about talking things out. I'm generally a private person when it comes to really emotional things concerning myself. I am the best person to come to if you need an amazing listener or to get advice. Just please oh please do not ask me to share how I feel or anything related. I close up them. Anyway, since my family groups have been the only people I can be semi-open with, I feel a close knit bond with them. I feel like I won't be judged by them. They're my safe haven. (My blog is also a safe haven for me, which is how I decided to name it after my 'real life' safe haven.)

A: I want to transition into writing more about personal endeavors, how I feel about what's happening in the world, my goals, what I like (in depth), and simply about what makes me myself. (If you have ever taken Psychology, in a way, I'll talk more about what forms my self.) Instead of writing short blurbs (which I will still occasionally do), I am focused on writing more lengthy pieces.

|two| While I was at it, I made a new e-mail for this blog specifically. The new one is sayhellodoll@gmail.com. Moreover, for some reason I keep typing either sayhelldoll@gmail.com or sayhellodoll@blogspot.com....yeah. It wasn't my brightest moment of the day. 

|three| I am considering a blog makeover. Hahahah. I don't know.  I am just in the blog-edit mood, but who knows how I will feel tomorrow (when the makeover would most likely start to take place if I do decide to do it).
