It's true when people say that once you get a tattoo, you will want more. After I got my first one (see it here), I have been aching for another one. I know that I will want to add onto my current thigh tattoo in the future. (Possibly around Xmas time?) I also know that I want more tattoos, such as one that says 'ohana' and an anchor.
As I have been on Pinterest a lot lately, I have started to discover more tattoo inspirations. Below are some of my favorite ideas that I would consider getting a version of.
a) I like this tattoo a lot because of its implication. As more of my loved one's pass, I would add a date to a branch. It would be a symbolic tattoo. Plus, it looks amazing!
b) Shoulder tattoos are really beautiful, in my opinion. They probably hurt a heck of a lot, but the aftermath is pretty much worth it. The below tattoo is so amazing! I feel as if I have a thing for flowers now, haha. My excuse is that they symbolize the blooming of things. They may die, but if you water them and tend to them with a bunch of love, they'll bloom right up again. (Or is that just me making excuses for wanting more flowers? Errr...)
c) I love traveling! It's something that I could see myself doing in the future. (Of course with breaks in between because jet lag is a - word I shan't say.) This tattoo is really simple; I like that. It would be a pretty neat idea to get the places you have traveled to colored in or something. Maybe a dot or some type of recognition for visited places. My goal would be to have the entire map shaded in (or at least close to it) before I die.
d) Flowers! Aha, I told y'all that I am becoming addicted to them. I love the detailing of this tattoo. (Geez; getting the details done is a pain, though, but it's worth it.) The location is pretty neat too. For me, I have difficulty deciding where I want a tattoo. It took me forever to decide on getting my thigh tattooed for my first one. The next time I get one, I am aiming for my shoulder/upper arm. (That's also partially because my mum wants me to get a tattoo somewhere less visible. I suppose that's understandable.)
e) Here's another flower: a dandelion! This tattoo is pretty epic, eh? I could see myself donning this piece of art. The location is pretty neat, too. (I'd either get it there or around my hip if I were to get something like this.)
f) I like semicolons. They remind me that I could have ended a portion of my life (a sentence), but chose not to. It's really inspiring. It's motivating to continue on, even when times get rough. That's how come I like the semi-colon movement. It gives support to those with suicidal thoughts, or those who attempted suicide. "The movement is for anyone who has ever self-harmed, has a personality disorder, or has tried to commit suicide. The semicolon is a sign of hope. Your sentence is not over yet, remember that." The movement also encourages people to support those who have done/has one of the aforementioned problems.
