Taking my health seriously needs to become a top priority of mine again.  For numerous months, I have been lacking in the fitness and healthy eating department. Whatever I want, I tend to eat. Working out is simply not a question because I "cannot find the energy" to do so. When I was at Stanford, I was pretty much forced to do yoga and zumba four out of seven days of the week. Now that I am back home, I am back to neglecting my health, which I am am becoming more and more adamant about changing.

I am the type of person who hates to complain about something that is within my will to change. If I can change it, and I want to change it, then I feel as if complaining will do absolutely nothing besides get on people's nerves. (I know people get on my nerves when they complain about something that they can obviously change.)  Weight loss is one of the things that I do not like to complain (or hear) about. I mean, I have the power to change my weight. I'm healthy enough to be able to get off my bum, work out, prepare healthy meals, and sleep right. (However, I do, in fact, understand that some people have health disorders that do not grant them control over their weight. That is an entirely different situation.) But since I do have the capability to take the right steps to become healthy, I either suck it up and shut up when I am too lazy to not work-out or eat correctly, or applaud myself when I do.

Before this summer began, I used to consistently do Sunday Health Goals.  I wrote about what my goals for the week were health-wise. This little segment began shortly after the new year began. (Holy moly!) It was put on hiatus after I started slacking off towards the beginning of summertime. I figured, why should I continue to write, "Well, I sucked this past week, yada yada ya..." every. single. week. when I knew that I was not motivated enough to even attempt to be healthier.  Now, I am sort of working myself back up to the point of wanting to eat right and work out (whether that be yoga or zumba at home). This revelation has led to me coming to the conclusion that Sunday Health Goals needs to be returned. It helped me keep myself on track (for awhile at least). So, beginning this upcoming Sunday, be on the look out of my health goals again! Feel free to join in down below in the comments, on your own blog, on instagram, on twitter, on whatever!
