Old Me Can Improve
Hi, y'all. This post is about to be very short because it's Memorial Day weekend, and I am trying to get as much relaxation and family time in as possible. Yesterday, my sister and I went shopping with our cousin, and then my sister and I went to Noodles & Company. Today, my dad, sister, and I are going to head over my uncle's house to chill out with my dad's side of the family. Tomorrow, I am going to be walking in the Memorial Parade in Dearborn {I'll be representing Dearborn Animal Shelter.}, and then my mum, sister, and I are going to head over to my Granny's house for a family barbecue. Exciting, eh!
...that on Saturday, I officially fell in love with Noodles & Company. I had previously (around the beginning of the year) tried their Pad Thai, but I did not necessarily like it because it was not spicy enough for me. I'll stick with going to Thai restaurants for that. Anyways, this time, I tried Penne Rosa with Parmesan Chicken, spinach, and Parmesan cheese. {So, everything minus the mushrooms because blech.} This meal had me falling in love with pasta all over again. No wonder my sister is really addicted to that place.
...that I am writing this post at 2:01 AM this morning, and I am extremely tired. Why, you ask, don't I just wake up whenever I do and then write it? Um, because I don't wanna.
...that for one of my Journalism class' projects, each student has to create their own blogL {Wordpress} and blog 300-500 words per day {editorial-style}. That's kind of interesting. I'll see how I much I like being forced to write...#ohno. It's a good thing nobody knows that I blog, so I can kind of take some of my editorial-style posts from here and just do the good 'ole copy-n-paste.
...that I have officially decided to call my closest friend, Treasure, my "best friend". Anyone who knows me knows that this is a big deal. I do not like classifying people as my "best friend" because I seem to always get hurt by mine. Hopefully it does not happen this time. {Wish me luck.}
...that I like animals better than humans. Am I wrong for that? This has just been a random thought that has been running around in my head for the longest. When I actually get a pet again, if anyone dares to visit me and complain about my pet, I am probably going to say something to the extent of: "Well, you don't live here, my dog/cat does. I like them better than you, so if you have a problem with them, don't let the door hit ya' where the good Lord split ya'." Na'mean? {Hahaha, that just seems so grammatically wrong. How do people say that!?}
I lost weight, y'all! Last Thursday was the first day that I got weighed in about a year. I hadn't thought it about it then, but I did lose weight. Then on this past Thursday, I went to the doctor again for my physical {The first appointment was for a prospective ear infection.}, and I lost another pound. Ho-ho-holy crap. This makes me motivated {somewhat} again.
Tune: Goodbye by Chris Young
