Fit Is A Way of Life
I am super excited, y'all! Tomorrow, I will be blabbing about it all, but right now I have to be a little shush. For what reason? Hahah. I just like the suspense of it. ;) Now, let's get to it.
This past week in Tennessee has been perfect. It would be the life if I could live there. My family visited Nashville, Pigeon Forge, and stayed in Gatlinburg. On Monday, I will share a recap of things we did. {Caution: There will be a major photo bomb!}
I figured since I received my good news during aforementioned trip to Tennessee, I might as well share what it was during the recap post. Y'all do not know how hard it is for me to keep hush-hush. That's how much I ache to spill all!
Since this is music-related, I want to share that I met the guys apart of Luke Combs Band. They are really nice! Do yourself a favor and check out some of their tunes (p.s. it's country music).
Geeesh! Keeping secrets is really hard! How do y'all do it?! If the secret pertains to anyone else, then I can easily keep my trap shut. If it pertains to me, then hahaha, I need to blab {especially if it is good news}!
I am not ready to go back to school. After any kind of extended break, I always dread heading back to high school. Seriously. Can I just stay in Tennessee forever? I seriously was contemplating hiding out and never returning to Michigan, anyways. {Just ask my parents.} Sadly, that did not pan out too well.
My birthday is in four days! Y'all do not know how excited I am to be turning sixteen in four days. Although it might not mean anything to everyone who is eighteen, twenty-one, etc, but it sure means a lot to me. It lets me become one year closer to {legally} doing a lot of the crap that I enjoy doing anyways. ;) I'll let you ponder that for a moment, harhar. {Whatever you decide to conjure up in your own head may or may not be my reality.}
Although I was on vacation, I did not necessarily want to slack off on working out. At the end of my vacation, I could say that I did my fair share of working out for the week, but I know it could have been better. Since I was on vacation, I won't criticize myself so harshly, though, so there's that, too. On Tuesday, I worked out on the elliptical for 25 minutes and then walked up the ridiculous mountain {that incline still haunts my dreams to this very day} seventy-five percent. I say seventy-five percent because my mum and I got tired and had my dad come drive us up the rest of the way. I still killed it, though! Haha. On Thursday, I went horseback riding. Before anyone tries to argue that horseback riding is not exercise, it technically is because of how much work it takes to keep your posture right, control the horse, stay balanced, etc. Read more on this here.
Managing what I ate was the difficult part of maintaining my health routine. It was practically all fast-food, fast-food, fast-food. What can I say? Nobody feels like cooking during vacation! My mum only made us breakfast, and the rest of the day was stopping to grab food or sit down (once). Plus, I drank a lot, and by a lot, I mean a bunch, of soda. I am super shocked that my face has not broken out in acne.
For this upcoming week, I want to get back into going to the gym. Maybe I should have went yesterday when my dad offered me to go, but eh, I didn't feel like it. {Sue me. ;}
