I Can't Wait For Summer Because [Link-Up]
Hey guys! What am I doing posting so late today? Well, I kind of slept in until noon, then hopped in the shower, ate a burger, watched The Fresh Prince of Bel Air (one and a half episodes) & Supernatural (watching one at the moment), and just now finished my Civics homework that is due tomorrow. That's impressive, I'd say. Around 4:30 today, I am also taking my butt to the gym. Ahhhh, I'd call today pretty successful.
Since I am kind of brain dead today, I do not feel like thinking up my own post. Nope. Unless you want word vomit all over the place, just accept that and keep it moving. Instead, I am going to be linking up with The Daily Tay and Helene In Between (two of my most favorite blogs--they aren't under my daily reads for nothing). This link-up could come at no better time simply because I am done with Winter. {Yay! Spring is officially starting tomorrow!} just really, really, really, reallllllly want Summer. That's all I want. Like, I am only excited for Spring because it's my birthday season.
- I love long nights with friends and family, just laughing the night away.
- Music. Festivals. Duh.
- Barbecues are freakishly amazing (and delish!) and I just want some more ribs, okay!
- Beaches, lakes, rivers--anything that includes water and lets me swim/soak in it, then I want it! This is the best thing about summer, hands down.
- Because my family will have our new kitty, and kitties! {Insert a googly, hear-shaped eyed emoticon here.}
- I am most likely going to have a Summer Job! Go me!
I need the warmth of the sun on my skin. Snow and bitter coldness does not cut it with me. - Country music always sounds better during the Summer. Duuuuh.
- I am getting my driver's license! Woooooh!
- Road trips!
- Because school is going to be out, and eff school! Summer year-round, no? Harhar.
- I can walk around in shorts, skirts, and dresses sans tights. Oh yes, baby!
- Once again, no more bitter coldness! I think this deserves two bullet points.
- Summer is my favorite season....{Okay, I said the same about Fall last year, but after this frigid winter, give me the heat!}
- My house will be stocked with icees, and my mom cannot complain because, hello, it's going to be Summer.
- Longer days with a shitload of sunlight are freaking awesome.
- Festivals in general are the epitome of awesomeness.
- Driving down the road with no place to go, and of course, with my music blasting.
- Summer clothes are pretty cool, no? I say screw thick coats and sweaters!
- I am happier in Summer. {I am clueless about Lana's 'Summertime Sadness', like, just no.}
- Walking outside is much funner without me having to worry about slipping and busting my bum on black ice. Yikes.
