Winter #HowAboutNo

By 11:00 AM , , ,

I am so over winter.

The ridiculous amount of snow that we have been experiencing on the East Coast and Midwest is really starting to piss me off.  I am pretty sure that the majority of spring and summer (and who am I kidding, even fall) babies are agreeing with me here: too much snow sucks.  I am longing for the warmer weather, the beautiful rainfalls (instead of stupid snowstorms), and times where all I have to wear outside is a freaking swimsuit. Snow and I do not mesh well after the holiday season is over. White Christmas? Perfect. Bring in the New Year with snow? Amazing. Ten-thousand snowstorms? Oh, boy, I am O-V-E-R this season! I want it to be over already.

And guess what makes this whole ordeal worse?

Phil saw his shadow.

Not sure who Phil is? Oh, well he is that adorable groundhog that comes out of his hole ever February 2nd to determine whether we will experience six more weeks of winter or not.  Sadly, this year we will be. I know that I am kind of late about talking about this, but seriously? I AM SO IRRITATED WITH THIS WEATHER. Michigan is already known for its bipolar weather, but I was honestly wishing that this year would of been a dry winter like last year {a little too late for that wish, Krishaun}.

But I am going to try to keep a positive outlook on this little (read: six weeks) fact. I am going to stay bundled in sweaters and coats, keep my tunes loud and fun, and stay out of the snow (or possibly have a snow fight?). I refuse to let the weather bring me down (although it is kind of easy to let it). I am also going to start dressing in brighter colors. That always helps. :) Oh! And another thing for me to stay happy for is the thought that in two months, I will be in Tennessee for my vacation! Oh weeee!

And look on the brightside: tomorrow is Valentine's Day! Who's excited (although I am going to be lonely...har har)? :)
