Saturday Tunes: The Neighbourhood & The 1975
There are two amazing alternative-rock bands that I have only recently discovered and absolutely adore: The Neighbourhood and The 1975. You may have heard of the former band (formed 2011) from their hit single Sweater Weather. However, they have a ton more songs that are just as amazing - I promise. The 1975 are not a new band either (formed in 2002, but became official as The 1975 in 2012), but their newly self-entitled album is what brought them to my attention. I believe that it was their song Chocolate that I first heard (off of Tumblr!) and from there, my heart was stolen. I don't know what it is about boy bands, but they seem to always steal my heart (ex: Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, La Dispute, etc), so there was no doubt that these two bands would gather their own special place there.
