Hi, all. :) I just wanted to pop in to share some updates on how today went. First of all, let me say that I like my schedule much much better than last year. This is purely because a. I have Journalism, and b. I don't have to change (for any classes) during the day besides to get dressed in the morning, and undressed at night. Kapeesh? Just nod your head. Moving on. There is one fault to this new year. There are over 400 freshmen, instead of the usually entry of 200, meaning that there is a complete overcrowded situation.  The cafeteria is packed waaaay past the max for both first and second lunch (with the vice principal's tell us to "sit down! sit down! you can't stand there!"), which essentially means I won't be eating in there this year. The classes are freaking crowded to 40 students plus, which is beyond ridiculous! I mean, c'mon now! What. the. heck.

Breathe.

Okay, I am done complaining.  Let me tell you about the good part.  For my schedule, I now have ACT Preparation, Next Generation Science (basically a mixture of all sciences filled with tons of lab work - boo!), ELA, Economics, Spanish II, Geometry, and Journalism 1. My favorite class (that I can tell) will be either Spanish II, Economics, or Journalism 1. Spanish II because I absolutely adore Senora Griffin (I had her in middle school, too!).  Economics because Mr. Smith is honestly crazy and I can tell we'll have fun (he even said, "You all will get a F in here, but still walk out like, "i had so much fun!'").  Journalism because we will be working on the school newspaper, as well as learn how to create a website from scratch (i.e. html and css stuff).  I'm most excited about the latter because I can finally learn how to make my own blog design, and that is so. darn. exciting! Yay! Plus, I can touch up on my writing skills (y'know how journalists are). ;) Haha.
