How To: Wear a Maxi Dress in the (almost) Fall

By 4:45 PM , , , , , ,

Thank God for air conditioners breaking.  Well, not in my home, of course, but in my high school.  This is the second day that we have been able to leave school early (this time 11:15am; the last time was 1pm) due to the air conditioner messing up.  At first, I thought the power just went out because of the crazy weather going on in Detroit (and everybody cranking up their air), but hoo-ho-ha, it wasn't! Renaissance just has a horrible air-conditioning system.  However, I am thankful for that today...and last week...(and hopefully tomorrow - fingers crossed).

When I got home, I changed into some sweats and a tee. But then my mum said, "let's go looking for homecoming dresses," and oh gosh, yesssss. I found the best dress ever, and I will dedicate a post to my findings tomorrow. However, I will not be announcing nor showing which of the dresses I bought until the week (or day-of) homecoming. Anyways, back on subject, I changed into this plum(ish) maxi dress with my lace cover-up over it (aha! one way to wear a maxi in the Fall). It was such a comfortable outfit to go strolling around Twelve Oaks Mall in.  Ah-ah-ah, I need to stop talking and save the details of the trip for tomorrow's post. Adieu!
