They Don't Look Like Me

By 10:00 AM , , , ,

Sales are my favorite things in the world.  The amount of happiness that they bring me can hardly be brought about by anything else (to my knowledge). The intense happiness always comes about when I see a half-off sale. The insurmountable happiness occurs when I see the seventy-five percent off sale! If you were to go shopping with me, regardless to if we are looking for clothes or not, you would quickly notice that I am a shopping addict. I'll quickly run over to the clothes and my eyes will get all big and stuff. It'd be like heaven for me. In the end, I'll most likely not buy anything, but that's not the point.

My friends out here in Palo Alto have quickly recognized my shopping addiction. They also have learned that they need to pull me away from the clothes as quickly as possible. For instance, when H&M had a massive sale this past weekend, I bought two sweaters (!) for a total of $14. Hello! That was a major deal because they were kind of thick sweaters (I love to prepare for the fall, y'all), and originally, they most likely would have been around $30. On the trip, I also bought a pair of $15 (on sale) jeans from Hot Topic. Guys. That was amazing; especially because I'd been looking for some ripped jeans for the longest. Hm...what else did I buy? I bought a sweater for around $12 at Old Navy.

Anyway, because of that massive sale, I have vowed to not spend any money (aside form basic things like food) for two weeks. I could easily do that if I dropped my addiction to Jamba Juice. Thankfully, my friends are helping me with that. (BOO!) So, while I save up my money while thinking of going to H&M again in the next two weeks, I will calm myself down by looking at pretty clothes and stuff online. Below are some of my favorites that I desperately want in my closet (the prices in parentheses are the sale prices).

Dress ($6.50) | Camisole ($7)

Sweater ($9) | Cardigan ($10)

Top ($12) | Sweatshirt Top ($10)

These are the top six things that I am looking at, along with some tights and a shirt for my nephew. So, since I know that you're reading this mum and dad, how about you get me one of the above tops and welcome me back home with it in three (?) weeks? I know you want to. ;P
