Half-fashion, half-music is what I thought when I first created this blog.  Those are the two things that I love a lot in life (music a wee bit more), so there was absolutely nothing that would be better for me to blog about. And my-oh-my was I right. Adding a song choice at the end of each post allows for me to share with you all the type of tunes that I adore, new music finds, and old songs that I can keep on replay forever. Fully devoted music posts are even more appealing towards me (and hopefully you readers). Do you like it when I share song choices and other posts about music?

A few days ago, I mentioned that I would share with you all what are some recent adds to my iTunes playlist.  Unfortunately, I never got around to creating that posts. It is mostly due to the fact that I put downloading music on hiatus for the night as I was super tired. I also did not blog yesterday, so that blew a chance away. Well, I am here today to stay, so you might as well get comfy. :) Below are all of the songs that are in my 'recently added' section of iTunes. See any tunes that you like, tell me! If you have any music recommendations for me to try out, I really do want to hear it. I am always on the search for new tunes to listen to (er, just no Gospel - unless contemporary - or rap - unless it's old school.)

Song Choice: 'See You Again' by Carrie Underwood.  I have always been a massive fan of Carrie, so when her album came out last year (on my birthday mind you - May 1st), I remembered why. It's here voice, the lyrics, and the beat - the music just makes me fall in love with it time and time again. If you have not heard this amazing song, then check it out below. Music is the one thing in life that is always there for me {yes, I just personified music}. It is something that I can listen to all day, and never tire of it. The thing that people do not seem to get about me is that I absolutely adore all music genres. If there is one thing in a conversation that I can talk about restlessly, it is music. Reggae, county, rhythm and blues, old school rap, rock, heavy metal, post-hardcore, folk/indie, singer/songwriter, jazz, blues, alternative, contemporary gospel, easy listening, pop, electronic, dance, punk, grunge, house, pop-punk/rock, new age, and soul. Yeah, that is a lot of tunes for me to love. But I do.

Each season of the year, I tend to lean towards one genre the most. I do not mean to, but it happens. It happens because that genre (in particular) sets the mood for the season.  For example, in Winter, I listen to Holiday/Christmas music. That's self-explanatory. In the Spring, I begin to lean towards Country more-so, but am still hooked on dance and R&B (probably because it's my birthday season, as well as the end of the school year season). In the Fall, I lean more to rock, post-hardcore, heavy metal, and alternative. (Keep in mind that I like all types of music still throughout these seasons. I just listen to a few genres more in certain one!) Now that it is Summer, I find that country feeds me more of the Summer-vibe than anything else. Well, that and reggae.

The beats, the voices~the entire vibe of the Country and Reggae songs provide a Summer feeling. They make me want to just hop on a plane and fly to Hawaii or Florida for a vacation. {Florida, here I come in August, babyyyy!}

Song Choice: 'Jesus Take The Wheel' by Carrie Underwood. I first heard this song on 99.5 WYCD (a Detroit country radio station) a few days ago. I honestly love the lyrics to this song as well as Carrie Underwood's voice, in general.  It is a lovely tune and I think that it is something almost everybody would like.
